trial
Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.
Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.
Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.
There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

QUESTIONS
Aquamarine Fox is little more than a scribble curled up in their chair. The only thing distinct about them is a pair of bracelets that they seem to be clinging to, but it's hard to tell when they look like this.
Cobalt Ox Is sitting in their chair, their knees drawn up to their chest. They look over at Fox every now and then before turning their attention back to the trial.
Emerald Goat is sitting right next to Fox, their expression is clearly worried, even when their whole body is white. Unreadable words appear on their skin before they're wiped out and the process continues again.

POWER LIST

I'll start: the first two were my own. The concoction cured me from a curse on Tuesday. The first, I used on Wednesday: it makes someone want to show affection towards the first person you see for 24 hours.

Okay, so I don't need to mention the big thing we found on the side of the warehouse. We've all seen that.
I got the lock on the door open and we found a walkie talkie inside. I'm gonna test it against the one we found and see if they're connected, but if they are that means the warehouse and the range are connected too. Datz found some paper taped to the door of one of the cupboards, which said "A witness claims to have overheard a female-sounding voice say, "I'll get my revenge with my bare hands!".
When looking in the trash, we found a can of black spray paint and another crumpled note that said "The tallest person and the shortest person are known for their self-control." Both the notes were typed.
Uhhh, a prinny gave us a compass as we left, but I don't know how relevant that is now. But, just in case it turns out to be super special for solving the case... I'm mentioning it.

VANE BODY REPORT
There are two major injuries on Vane's body of immediate note. The first is a single stab wound to the stomach - the second is that his throat was slashed. Both are likely matches for the knife that was found with his body.
He had a small bump on the right side of his head, and two small bruises on his arm - one at the shoulder, and one in the more general arm area. Both were about the size of a single silver leaf. [ he pinches his fingers together to roughly the size of a nickel. ]
He was also missing a tooth - [ and here he gestures on his own mouth, moving past sharp teeth from monster transformation week to point to the. front pre-molar. ] - And he had blood on the soles of his boots. Additionally, there was quite a bit of blood that came downwards towards his lap that may indicate he was seated when his throat was slashed. I cannot understate how bloody he was.
In his pockets, he had his phone, and two bracelets that he has had before in our checks. One was missing a charm according to my notes. He also had a seashell broken in half. I'd like to check his phone, but beyond that, that is all.

BODY RESULTS: DANNY

So Danny was wearing goth clothes. I think he might have been wearing those on the beach last night, and I think I heard about sand somewhere? So that might be connected.
... Um. [she rubs at her face, and then:] He was crying. His eyes were puffy and there were tear tracks on his face. He had a huge cut through his torso, it like... the arm was removed just below the shoulder, but also at an angle. Higher on the outside of his arm, lower the closer it got to his body. That wound went kind of like a continuation across his chest diagonally, and then there was a second one across his stomach.
The wounds were really deep, like someone hit really hard to cause them. And Vane's axe might have been a good match for those wounds but I didn't check anything else, I just... had a suspicion, I guess. We should double check that with other weapons if we find them.
His phone also was unlocked and had a picture of Tiger with tiger paws instead of hands, holding a blunt and also frowning at the picture-taker. The Tiger one was taken on Sunday sometime after execution but before the dead talked to us, so maybe not important. There's also one of a remedy bottle on a windowsill. That's in his room, at Tiger dorm. It was taken our third week here on a Wednesday, but... it was still there the last time I saw it, which I think was... Sunday?
And also there was a note in his notes app that said "Hope this helps. Pink perfume sampler." That one makes you want to kiss or hug the first person you see for 24 hours.
I don't know if this is true but my current theory is someone used the drum item to make Vane kill Danny, and then got rid of Vane afterward. I guess don't get stuck on that, but.

But, the wound kinda seemed a bit too big for what the projectile is.
His lips were bloody, and I noticed his hand had been clenched into tight fists, so I had to open 'em up. There were fingernail marks, 'course, and his fingernails just had skin, some blood but it was self-inflicted stuff.
On the front and back of his shoulder happens to be a fresh circular scar. His leg had a nasty claw-like scar on it too, but it didn't look fresh.
On his arm I noticed that there was a needle stuck right into the elbow. It looked like a...maybe from a hospital?

Also I found on him the following:
His phone, a slingshot with 5 other rubber projectiles, an open, empty bottle. Two bracelets on his wrist, with a second one being a orange fruit charm. Some kinda...chart.
