Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.

Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.

Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.

Welcome to your week one trial! Over the next nine hours, characters will have the chance to investigate, and theorize about the murders, as well as examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations with NPC permission. As you gather evidence and discuss, we encourage you to revisit the investigation post to refamiliarize yourselves with the events of Friday morning.

There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

To vote for a culprit, head over to the voting page! Voting is mandatory in this game, so please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST.

[ To give full description because, it looks like it's been pushed in deep enough to hit bone. Pulling it out will reveal it's an IV needle. ]

[ Can he check what's going on with the needle or will that need to wait til evidence check things. If he can he'll be checking for if there's liquid inside of it or something, yeah...

...there's also no other needles hanging around in Ponta, right? ]

[ Just to be clear... nothing is going on with the needle! There may be blood from it being pushed in.

[ Okay...gross. Moving on from that.

...He will give Ponta a closer relook over everywhere. Nothing else where sticking out or bruising in his skin? No strange last-minute marks he might have missed before he begins to move on to another part in the body invest? ]

[ no other injuries or bruising to find. there are only his clothes left aside and whatever ponta may or may not have been carrying. ]

[ Okay how about what's going on with his clothing? Anything odd about them? Anything in the pockets? ]

[ why did i not get a notif for this. anyway the only damage is from that wound on the thigh. ponta's inventory is:
- phone
- slingshot with 5 rubber projectiles
- an open, empty bottle
- two bracelets on his wrist. the second one has an orange (fruit) charm.
- in his right pocket, a chart
- along with the chart, five cards: 1 2 3 4 5

there is a printed note on the back of the chart that reads:

In addition to the five motive cards you have been provided with, there are five culprit cards, five weapon cards, five clues, and four witness statements. Have you found them all?

Some information on the culprit and weapon cards may have been fictionalized for dramatic effect and to preserve the mystery. However, the culprit names most likely refer to who you think they do.

OKAY WELL I assume he's got nothing else in his clothes here, right? So he's all good here, maybe?? This is sure a lot.

UNLESS SOMETHING WEIRD comes flying out of a pocket he will probably...be done with these and enter stuff into evidence check. ]
