Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.

Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.

Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.

Welcome to your week one trial! Over the next nine hours, characters will have the chance to investigate, and theorize about the murders, as well as examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations with NPC permission. As you gather evidence and discuss, we encourage you to revisit the investigation post to refamiliarize yourselves with the events of Friday morning.

There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

To vote for a culprit, head over to the voting page! Voting is mandatory in this game, so please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST.

The usual. [ bends time and space but tem is here with his notebook - he opens it up, flips to a page, reads something from it, and then snaps it shut. ]

We have fifteen items or curses that were used this week according to our list. Admit to the ones that you used and when in order to eliminate them from the potential of use on Thursday. There are have been many, many curses floating around this week, so let's be expedient.

I'll start: the first two were my own. The concoction cured me from a curse on Tuesday. The first, I used on Wednesday: it makes someone want to show affection towards the first person you see for 24 hours.

Be expedient. I'll be updating my notes.

Someone used the flower curse on me this week -- the one that makes you want to give people flowers? [ ... ] It was cute, actually.

Someone shrunk me to the size of an action figure. And did the whole, sparkles and bubbles things.

And also gave me the world's worst mustache, which almost resulted in Nico refusing to kiss me ever again, so thanks a lot for that, whoever did it.

All three of those things happened during Nico's party.

I used Puberty+ on Ponta and Pants on Fire on Vane. There were Wonderballs I just had lying around and I kind of wanted to see if Ponta's moustache matched his hair... both were used on Tuesday.

Someone cursed me to feel fuckin' hot and cold for two whole hours after I got back from getting shot in the head so like. Thanks for that.

[ i guess i forgot to mention its transformation week so his eyes are like eerily really bright blue today and he is still a furry. fox ears and a fox tail. this is my ebony darkness dementia raven way moment ]

Um...someone started something on Sunday but it went on until Tuesday so that probably doesn't matter. But otherwise someone turned me into a child for a few hours on Tuesday, and then I saw a bunch of kind of goofy ghosts at the party? Which, by the way, kind of funny and would happily take again thanks. But I think that was it for me. I didn't use anything this week.

Um, I used the butterfly clip on Rita, and the bouquet on Tama.
