Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.

Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.

Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.

Welcome to your week one trial! Over the next nine hours, characters will have the chance to investigate, and theorize about the murders, as well as examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations with NPC permission. As you gather evidence and discuss, we encourage you to revisit the investigation post to refamiliarize yourselves with the events of Friday morning.

There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

To vote for a culprit, head over to the voting page! Voting is mandatory in this game, so please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST.

Also, okay, so does this mean the 'three slashes' set described a while ago, and the slashes described just now, are the same set? There's only this one set of slashes?

Can he check how deep they are visually. Like, reasonably speaking, does this look like something a knife would cause or would it need something larger like an axe or a sword? ]

[ Removing Ponta's body- underneath him is a note, typed, not handwritten: Bottlecap Bestie wanted to fulfill a quota.

Near the place where his body was is a small charm of a sword. ]

Anything else hanging around here they should take note of in the closet or is this spot clear (with Ponta's removed body.) ]

[ Nothing else of interest in the closet, just general cleaning supplies, mops and buckets.

There's garbage on the floor of the check-in area, because Ryuki dumped it out to find a card. Other than that, nothing of interest.

For Axel, if he's looking at the ground when he walks into the shooting range portion, there's a little bit of blood droplets that lead to a blood puddle further in the shooting range- where Datz found the gun.

Ryuki, the back of the target has another typed note: A witness claims to have seen a person whose eye color is always changing admiring a hero trading card. ]

[ Yeah! He's keeping an eye out for that. ]

...Think we want to do one last sweep? Or do you think we're good?

[ No idea where else to look, but he offers, just in case. ]

[ Ryuki is so unbelievably annoyed with every note he's finding. ]

...If you don't have any other ideas of where else to look -- I think we should get Ponta back as soon as possible.
