Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.

Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.

Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.

Welcome to your week one trial! Over the next nine hours, characters will have the chance to investigate, and theorize about the murders, as well as examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations with NPC permission. As you gather evidence and discuss, we encourage you to revisit the investigation post to refamiliarize yourselves with the events of Friday morning.

There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

To vote for a culprit, head over to the voting page! Voting is mandatory in this game, so please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes at 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST.

I'm inclined to think it's more likely that the killer would just put a single word in quotes.
Thinking about who was killed, the disdain for our current system is very high.
A sarcastic "quote" might be more common than a "more lengthy or meaningful quote", if that makes sense.

One of the three letter words could be "how" or "why".

Anything found on Ponta while his body check is being done will obviously be related to him, but there's a chance that we'll be finding things relating to Vane and Danny as well considering the crossover of things.

[ BUZZ BUZZ There's an anonymous message! ]

An item was used to look into the shooting range. There was a blurry image of someone shooting the targets there. Someone smaller than them, and somebody taller than the gun holding figure were there with them (the gun wielder). The figure with the gun - the middle height figure - turned to the two of them.

The shooter fired at the taller and shorter figures, then dropped the gun. The taller figure tried to pull the shooter away, but failed. The shooter started to carve into the smaller figure's leg.
