This week Amethyst Snake, Crimson Phoenix, White Tiger, and Yellow Rabbit can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the First quarter phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

Your memories are back to being just that - memories, instead of comic book panels that just anyone can read. But it looks like you're not done with pop-ups. All throughout this week, thought bubbles appear over your head, sharing your innermost thoughts with anyone who can read it. Maybe you'll get lucky and everyone will suddenly be illiterate?

WEEK 5, MONDAY

★ All locations have been repaired and restored to normal. Except for your dorm doors. Some of you never recoverd those.
★ The hero memorial now has framed photos of Reigen, Sigrun, and Ace, with small plaques detailing their heroic or villainous deeds.
★ The Mayor is still under protective care this week. He is not dead.
★ Another woven green bracelet has been added to the hero memorial, along with a small bundle of wildflowers.
★ Starting later in the morning, there's constant traffic of boxes coming and going into, along with the sound of... building things? from the roof of the Storybook Cafe. This continues well into the late afternoon.
★ The animals have been released from the zoo and replaced them with skeleton versions of the same animals, from the Halloween store. The carnivores are currently hunting the other animals.
★ A 12-foot skeleton has somehow been placed on top of the Four Beasts Security building. It is flipping off the moon.
★ An Ace figurine from the anime store has been deposited on the beach.

WEEK 5, TUESDAY

★ Starting on Tuesday and lasting until the end of the week, everyone will have reduced impulse control and will have increased likelihood to indulge at sporadic intervals.
★ The remaining zoo animals have been collected and put back in their exhibits. The zoo is currently shut down to the public. It is also missing many of its prey animals.

WEEK 5, WEDNESDAY

★ The Elevators to each dorm will be filled with balloons. Half of them are filled with glitter, while a quarter of them will have Mika keychains, pins, and stickers stuffed inside. Each dorm will also have a balloon snake in their color sitting at the dorm's entrance. It's just a long ballooned with googly eyes glued on to it.

The hearts of every single man and woman are longing to know if the rumors are true. Has Oceanside's most eligible bachelor, the king of disco himself, finally settled down and found love? Reports have reached this paper that the infamous pardi boy was seen out and about this week cuddling with someone new. But today the Harbinger can bring you this exclusive photo and report that the special someone in our favorite laser eyed idol's life was none other than the world's cutest pink kitty cat. The two best friends were spotted tossing back drinks at the hottest spots in town. Does Discoman know you shouldn't give alcohol to cats? These questions and more remain unanswered. Nonetheless, all of our spirits are cheered knowing these two share an adorable bond like this. And as for all of those lonely hearts hoping for a connection of their own with our favorite memeable superstar or perhaps with a very special cat, keep that hope alive. The ones you are seeking are still out there, waiting for you, and they love you very much. That's how we're ending this gossip column!

As an aside, his thoughts are bubbling about how much of a pain this is, and his shadow seems to be kind of acting up a little?? Poking at other people's shadows.

Anyway, what matters is that he's doing his best and everything that entails, but he's dealing with one particularly stubborn goat. ]

why, it's construction! in one of the trees, to be specific, by Danny and Nimona. they have strips of maybe-lumber, scavenged from a variety of tarkea furniture pieces scattered in the grass below, that they are now trying to haphazardly nail into place up in the tree to make a steady even surface amongst the branches.

Hey, Nimona, hand me another one of those bedframe panels--whoa! [ Danny nearly slides out of his position in the tree when the board he was kneeling on suddenly shifts and swings over the side of the tree, leaving him dangling from the meaty thick branch. ] I thought we nailed that one down already...

[as he's dangling, nimona, who is wearing ace's hat, cracks up.]

Don't die by falling out of a tree, that's the lamest way to go. [she reaches up to try and push him back up into the tree, but she's short and can't reach.]

Hold on, get back up and I can bird and bring you the nails. Do we have any flat boards left?

[ she kicks at the wood frames on the ground... this is such a janky collection of materials, but it's fine. Danny meanwhile kickies his way until he can get enough leverage to pull himself back up. As he kickies he might blind you with sparkles, too.

Upon arrival, you’ll find yourself at the beach. Nice, wide, open, quiet and peaceful. It's all yours for a few hours!

The heroes chilling on the beach get:

★ Grill A grill is set up with a wide variety of foods to actually grill. Hamburger, hot dogs, steaks, corn and more are set up for the heroes to cook and chow down on.

★ Watermelon Smash There's a whole bunch of watermelons out here that are perfect for smashing. Did somebody buy out Oceanside's entire stock of watermelons? Time to try another watermelon game!

There's only one bat. Take turns (or don't).

★ Sandcastle Competition A beach has tons of sand, so why not make the most majestic castle you can out of it? There's plenty in the way of plastic shovels and buckets.

You're also doing the judgment. Be nice to your fellow heroes.

Part 2

As the sun begins to lower in the sky, a few more options show up.

★ Volleyball Feeling up to a friendly game of beach volleyball? A net has been set up for teams to use, with a set of volleyballs off to the side. Be careful, though - one wrong hit, and the volleyballs will explode and cover you in biodegradable glitter or paint. And the referee calls a foul for illegal explosions, like it was your fault. Rude.

★ Fishing competition Come one, come all. The beach has a whole bunch of fishing rods and bait. Whoever reels in the biggest fish will be the beach royalty! (One day only.)

★ Theater To get the beach to yourselves for this long, there's a catch. There's a stage set up on the beach and a bunch of kids that are so excited to watch the heroes put on a show. The only directions you've been given are "heroes versus villains" so let your creativity shine.

The children judge all performances. They're the harshest critics anywhere. Boo, get a better heroic entrance!

[ enjoying your day? getting ready for the spooky slumber party? looks like you might be missing a few people, though, considering a police van comes tearing down the beach and sending civilians scrambling out of the way faster than a flock of rogue beach umbrellas. the lights whirl and flash as the vehicle comes to an abrupt stop, and then—

the doors of the back fly open, and with a blast of music, three figures are yote out bodily at mach fuck into the surf of the shallows. contents ejected, an unseen officer slams the doors shut again and the van kicks up sand, momentarily stalled, before it's speeding off again, jumping up onto the curb and back onto the streets, tearing off onto the horizon. ]

[ one figure rises up first from the water, spitting it out and grimacing. they can't see anything through their hair or the seaweed that's draped over their head, caught on something that protrudes from their forehead, but they're still reaching around, grabbing for the others that were spit out with them.

no one wants to drown after all of this. please. dear god.

anyways. hey?

hung hasn't been this bad in a few weeks, not since he was in the arena. he's got a burnt orange (color, not fire burns) jacket on with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, but it's not doing a great job at hiding the fact that he's oozing a fair amount of blood out of a wound that's hard to see in his right side. there's also blood on other parts of his jacket, along with... black scribbles all over? his fur is flecked and streaked in blood and has black stains to match. the water doesn't seem to be doing much to wash out either.

at least he's not missing any limbs? even if his attempts to stand are kind of staggered, like both of his legs hurt for some reason, gait off, uncomfortable. whatever's going on there is hard to see due to being in the water.

he tries not to sink back into the water, supporting the others with him as he shoves his hair out of his face and just. lets the seaweed caught on his horn stay there. ] We're back...

Sometime around the evening you'll hear a giant crash at the anime store. If you go, you'll find an absolute clutter of items all over the ground, mostly of idols and magical girls.

Something pops up from under the pile, dressed somewhat uniquely though the tears and bloodstains are probably not a part of it. Between the fit, and also the colour of the hair and eyes (both bright orange), it may already be hard to tell who this is -- even more so with the higher pitched voice with the slightly smaller size, more youthful, more adolescent. ]

collapses limply to the floor. he's not moving for like a good twenty minutes someone is going to probably going to have to haul him off the floor maybe??????

like the others, he's in a fancy-ish costume (though more red and gold and white to match colour-wise with them)

except there's... quite some blood? on the back of his cloak? at least he's not currently bleeding, but he also looks pale and exhausted.
