This week Amethyst Snake, Crimson Phoenix, White Tiger, and Yellow Rabbit can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the First quarter phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

Your memories are back to being just that - memories, instead of comic book panels that just anyone can read. But it looks like you're not done with pop-ups. All throughout this week, thought bubbles appear over your head, sharing your innermost thoughts with anyone who can read it. Maybe you'll get lucky and everyone will suddenly be illiterate?

I don't know what to make of this.

[ He says, grilling watermelon while wearing a light teal apron. Looking into the distance, he seems dead inside... Completely perplexed by being given a vacation day.

A thought bubble does form: is the moon going to come early and we are all going to die tomorrow? ]

But he's hanging back watching the other grill...a watermelon? Well, different strokes for different folks and all that. ]

Someone's a worrywart.

[ He's just chilling, unsurprisingly. Maybe he's helping grilling something else. A hotdog or something. ]

Sorry for worrying in a situation we should be worrying about.

[ Flips over the watermelon slices. They have nice grill marks despite being a watery fruit? ]

How's your hotdog doing?

[ Looks over. ]

Good point, good point. But this is a time to chill a bit, you know?

[ Somebody's got some skill. Grilling with fruit's gotta be hard.

As for Axel...he's, well. He's getting there, let's say. ]

It's doing fine. See, look...

[ He turns to see it and it's burnt. There's a pause and he tosses it before putting on a new one. ]

Anyway. Maybe I was a little mistaken, but happens to everyone, right?

I want to retire...

[ Said to no one but himself, really. Lillium also turns to see and. ]

Dude.

[ IT WAS BURNT? ]

[ Ganba, Lilium.

...but that comment is a mood, even if it has been said to himself. Vacays up the wazoo is what they all deserve. ]

A mistake and maybe a work in progress?

[ Totally burnt, because Axel gets distracted easily, help. ]

Try to not waste too much food, Axel.

[ Lillium, despite talking, knows when to take the fruit off the grill. They look pretty nice decide being?? Grilled watermelon. ]

You gonna enter the competition? Or go watermelon smashing?

Right, that's a fair point. I'm afraid grilling's not something I'm used to.

I usually leave it up to other people. Speaking of which, how'd you get the watermelon to look that good?

[ Axel's trying to keep an eye on his so it doesn't end up like the previous ones... ]

I was thinking of smashing at least one watermelon or two. And maybe the competition too for fun.

Just grilled it, man. Nothing special. I'm sure if you keep watch on the grill, you could easily make some yourself.

[ He'll offer a wedge. It has a smoky taste, but also.. Sweeter because of caramelized sugar. There's a hint of salt, which adds to sweet-salt combo. ]

Got a clue on want you'd build for the competition?

I guess you might have a point. This sort of thing kinda requires a fine concentration.

[ Also, sweet-salt combo? Now that reminds him of sea-salt ice cream in a way (especially after he takes the offered wedge to try.) ]

Not bad, by the way.

Anyway, yeah, probably a huge castle. The biggest sand castle anybody's ever seen. Larger castles are pretty much gonna have an amazing wow factor, right?

...me neither.

[ He's never heard of grilled watermelon, watching Lilium with interest. but also with like a whole picnic table in between them, just to have something to hide behind/under if need be ]

We might as well enjoy the good, I guess. A beach day isn't something people can enjoy all the time.

[ Looks at him... From across the picnic table that is suddenly between them. ]

You... Okay?

[ don't look at him ]

I'm fine. And you can go to the beach now every day, now that the little doodz are letting us through.

[perennation]

I meant that if we leave this place, some of us won't be near the sea. Or we might be too busy.

[ Raises his eyebrows. ]

You sure? You're looking kind of nervous all the way over there.

[ Flips watermelon. It sizzles. ]

[ ducks a little further behind the table ]

You mean "when."

[ Well, he isn't going to spoil a kid's hopes and dreams. He won't comment and no thought bubble will betray him. ]

Want some grilled watermelon?

[hanaban]

[ he will get home, even if he has to kill Lillium himself to achieve that ]

...I've never had one.

[ Lillium gains... two inches closer at the offer, though ]

Watermelons are supposed to be crisp, juicy, and refreshing. Doesn't grilling ruin all of that?

I wouldn't say ruin. Food can be transformed, don't you think? That's what cooking and baking does.

It'll be different, of course. It won't be as crisp. It'll definitely be softer, but it's sweeter because of the caramelized sugars. You can add salt, feta cheese, or a squeeze of lime and it changes the experience.

[ Hand on his hip. ]

But if you want watermelon as it is, then yeah. Grilling ruins it.

They always have us doing something weird on Wednesdays anyway.

It's relaxing to me. not the menu movie style, though. ]

Yeah, I do. Kind of have to when you live alone, you know?
