This week Amethyst Snake, Crimson Phoenix, White Tiger, and Yellow Rabbit can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the First quarter phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

Your memories are back to being just that - memories, instead of comic book panels that just anyone can read. But it looks like you're not done with pop-ups. [ Danny is here, in a pair of generic swim trunks and a t-shirt! and he's embracing his inner barbecue dad at the grill. or, trying to. he, uh, put some hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and is now trying to turn them over with his bare fingers. and obviously nothing is getting turned over because he keeps yanking his hand away and hissing in pain whenever he touches them.

both his fingers and these meats are getting the most uneven grill job of all time.

oh also, he's blue now. ]

[ Well, efforts are being made here, right? Axel has already gotten a majority of stuff done...as in he'll need to toss them because he burned them, it's fine. ]

...Shouldn't you be using something for that?

[ Also he squints at the blueish tint going on now. ]

[ the minievent text did not mention utensils or tools so i am choosing to have them be out of sight and danny did not think to look for any ]

[ It's all good! Axel will just figure Danny might have missed them so he will go to retrieve at least an extra spatula. ]

It must be another wonderball. Last week I was green, now I'm blue.

It was kinda like off to the side with the other cooking utensils. So, you might've just missed it, y'know?

[ Hecking crying...well their collection of burgers aren't going to look too fly, it seems like. ]

Well, I guess that makes sense. As much as items making people have strange effects can.

[ never mind what it says about him that he just assumed all this would have to be cooked with bare hands. Danny finally turns over all the meats on the grill. Well...people love char and blackened flavor, right?

[ He gives a little nod, then goes to continue on his side of cooking because he has to start new himself on the separate grill he was at.

Due to his mistakes he had to toss earlier. '...Talk about a learning curve. Wonder if the others from the islands would be better at this.' ]

Well I don't see any--just meat! [ including his fingies ]

[ pulls out his first aid kit from his bag and goes to dig out some burn ointment and bandages for his fingies. ]

We'll find some. Let me see your hands?

[ holds out his blue (da ba dee da ba dai) hands for hung to inspect!

they're a lil purple on the fingertips from the slight burns ]

... this is so weird to see from the other side. [ laughing, but he'll treat his fingies so that it's not a problem for him later. LIKE DURING HIS CYOA RETURN. ]

*yes he is, the tools are like just very slightly hidden out of sight but still findable ]

[ he does not believe this unfortunately but it's solely because as a fellow teenage boy he has done stupider things, so. ]

Improvisation is your friend and all that. [ which is to say he does actually spot the tools after a bit of gazing...and decides not to do anything about it yet. just to see. ]

Not that I'm not all for relaxing but this is...different. [ and also because he literally cannot help it: ] Why do people seem to insist you'd look best in different bright colors?

I don't know. I'm not a fan but of all the wonderballs out there, this one's not too bad.

[ ninety-one. no, wait--one-ty-nine? eleventynine?

...he picks up another hot dog with his bare hands and yowls again. ]

[ what the hell. he has even more questions than usual and he's staring before he just decides maybe it's safer not to ask.

he leans around and picks up a pair of tongs from where they're hidden, waving them in his face. ]

Pretty sure there aren't wonderballs to fix burnt fingers though.

Remedies don't count?

Remedies are remedies and wonderballs are wonderballs and also remedies are more expensive. [ which is annoying. ] As long as your hands aren't blistering it's whatever. Plus there's the whole "entirely possible that people are getting swept away tomorrow for another stupid trip" thing.

[ all the more reason to save remedies, which means try not to do anything dumb to injure yourself in small and stupid ways, but he doesn't actually verbalize that and assumes danny will just figure it out, apparently. ]
