Early Friday morning, our heroes awaken to the moon setting, and finally, the freedom to leave the locations they fell asleep in the night before. It's a normal morning... if you ignore the sirens echoing through the city streets.

Police and prinnies have gathered in certain locations. With the sight of heroes giving them hope, they call upon you for help in searching for evidence, that we may all learn what happened on Thursday night.

So what are you waiting for? The investigation is yours.

Welcome, heroes, to your weekly investigation!

We will be posting top-levels for locations to be searched - one set at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST and the second at 7 PM EST / 4 PM PST. Each block will run for two hours during which characters can search the locations for evidence related to the events of Thursday night, and each location will have something to find. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.

Once the two hours are up - at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST for block one and 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST for block two - threads will no longer receive mod tags and the investigation will conclude for the night. Whether you find everything is up to you, but don't worry if you don't! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9 PM EST / 6PM PST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

[ she grumbles as she keeps looking. anything under the table, on any of the other tables, or anything noteworthy going on with the chairs?

also, she's going to go peek in the changing room. what kind of changing room is this? single-occupancy or bigger, doors or curtains for privacy? and is there anything out of place there now? ]

[ It's full of scribbled in dates for various times and days, but there wouldn't be anything for last night. There is however, something poking out from one of the pockets.

There's nothing on top of the chairs to see. As for the changing rooms, they aren't really made for privacy. It looks like it's to let people gear up with their laser tag armor and guns. There is a return table in here with some gear still on it. ]

It's not the easiest conversation to have.

[Speaking from experience she'd rather not talk to someone who's aiming to kill her...anymore.

Armor? For lasers? Focus Robin focus. She'll open to that spot and take out what's in the pocket to read it. Is there a message on it or is it a secret message?]

It would be a lot harder after I flipped the table and beat them bloody.

[ maybe this is why no one murders rita. she's too unsociable.

looking at that return table. what kind of gear do we have here? armor, guns? how many? anything off about them, or the table and surrounding area? ]

[ Someone take this lady on a nice laser tag outing.

It's another card! Is someone starting their own TCG?

There is three sets of gear here and three sets of guns! Two of them appears to be larger than the third one. There isn't anything on the table or the surrounding area. ]

Especially if you happen to break their jaw or knock a tooth out.

[Listening to the way Rita described what she would do reminded her of Zoro and well her crew really.

The titles of the cards are very interesting. She'll take the card before she picks up the planner to see if there's anything underneath it. Is there anything underneath it?]

Okay. Tea before murder, we've seen. Laser tag before murder is new.

... Anyway. You ready to check out this maze?

[ gesturing as she starts limping towards the play area. anything stand out as she enters? what's this space look like, anyway? ]

[ Nothing else going on with Planner-san! There is still a whole laser tag maze to check out.

It's similar to this, but there are archways. They are going to have to keep their eyes peeled with all the neon colors and places to duck into. ]

[Okay, on to the maze!

It's so bright. There are so many places to hide too. How does someone play this game? Well, is there anything broken? Anything that would look out of place?]

This place is a real eyesore...

[ okay, she'll try studying the floor and the walls as she enters, making sure to stop and look around every corner and circle every obstacle she comes across. she'll even look up at the ceiling, too.

[ Since they are only in the beginning part, they won't find anything on the obstacles or in the little hiding nooks here. However, since Rita is looking up, she'll spot something on the underside of one of the arches about one fourth of the way through. Can Rita even reach it?

If Robin is continuing through looking for anything that stands out, she may spot something sticking out where two of the maze walls meet. ]

I've never seen a place like this before. How does anyone find anything here?

[Robin will walk over to where the thing is standing out. Can she take it out?]

You're supposed to be able to hide in here... It's how the "game" works or whatever. [ a shrug. ]

Anyway... hey, can you see what that is?

[ pointing at the thing on the underside of one of the arches. we really brought our tallest girl and our shortest girl on this invest. if rita was less injured she'd try to get it, but... nah, this looks like a job for robin.

and i guess she'll keep going deeper into the maze, looking through it with the same thoroughness as she started with. anything of interest come into view? ]

[ Robin can take it out and will find that it's a paper airplane. Do they have airplanes in one piece.

The thing on the underside of the archway will be waiting here for Robin to tol girl it!

About three-fourths of the way through, there is a little alcove for hiding and something tucked inside. ]

Is it an advanced version of hide and seek?

[I don't think airplanes have been mentioned when everyone tricks out their ships on the sea.

Robin will take the paper airplane and look at it for a minute before taking it with her. She'll go over and grab the thing on the underside of the archway. She'll look over at the alcove and see the thing tucked inside. Is it easy to get?]

Something like that. I looked into it briefly because it sounded interesting, but it turns out the lasers are all totally harmless.

[ said with some hint of disappointment.

[ The paper airplane looks like one of those kind you fold from paper.

As for the archway thing... it's another card!

It looks like Rita isn't left out of the card collecting. She'll find a card. ]

Ahh, it sounds interesting. I'd want to watch how people play this game.

[Robin will look at the card before taking it with her. Is there anything else sticking out of the walls when they go further in the maze? Anything that stand out or doesn't match the neon paint?]

[ was the card stuck to that archway in any particular way? like was the corner embedded in it, or was it stuck with adhesive?

she'll keep going along too, checking out the walls, floor, and around the obstacles. ]

[ Nothing on the walls, ceiling, archways, or on the obstacles. They can keep checking up until they get towards the end the maze.

On the floor by the exit, they will find... ANOTHER CARD! Look how nice they look. They won't be able to find anything else inside of the maze. ]

[Robin will look at the cards they have. It's very interesting how many cards they were able to find during this. She doesn't know what these cards mean, though she has a feeling they are all connected.]

Looks like we're at the end. We should walk back to the front.

Maybe this way loops back to the main area...?

[taking another look up at the arches and the ceiling as she heads for the exit. where does this exit take them, and do they see anything of note as they head through there? ]

[ It loops back and takes them to... the dressing area and where the returns are! ]

[Is there anything else standing out in the dressing area? Anything they should look for in the returns as well?]
