Early Friday morning, our heroes awaken to the moon setting, and finally, the freedom to leave the locations they fell asleep in the night before. It's a normal morning... if you ignore the sirens echoing through the city streets.

Police and prinnies have gathered in certain locations. With the sight of heroes giving them hope, they call upon you for help in searching for evidence, that we may all learn what happened on Thursday night.

So what are you waiting for? The investigation is yours.

Welcome, heroes, to your weekly investigation!

We will be posting top-levels for locations to be searched - one set at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST and the second at 7 PM EST / 4 PM PST. Each block will run for two hours during which characters can search the locations for evidence related to the events of Thursday night, and each location will have something to find. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.

Once the two hours are up - at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST for block one and 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST for block two - threads will no longer receive mod tags and the investigation will conclude for the night. Whether you find everything is up to you, but don't worry if you don't! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9 PM EST / 6PM PST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

[following the blood trail to that box freezer, minding her step. is there anything on the floor on the way there? and what kind of trail is it, exactly? like drops of blood, or a straight up line of blood smeared on the floor like someone dragged something bloody along the ground?

looking at the box freezer, what can she notice looking at it from outside? is there anything under it, around it, or on top...?

is the lid made of see through glass, or is that opaque as well?]

[ There is blood around Danny's body, but that's to be expected.

It looks like drops of blood leading over here.

Looking down, the first thing Saya will see is Danny's left arm. The fingers have been curled so it looks like he's flipping somebody off. ]

[she kind of just. rubs at her face a bit, and then checks around the rest of the konbini. is there anything else she can see? anything on the ceiling, anything in the shelves, anything behind the counter, etc.]

[truly hope that was danny flipping off the killer and not the killer being weird.

she snaps a picture and then opens the freezer. since the meta text said the first thing she sees is danny's arm, is there anything else of interest in this freezer...? anything around danny's severed hand, or anything else curious about its position?

is this the only thing inside this freezer if she digs around?]

[ Nothing on the ceiling, or shelves. There is the blood trail leading out the back exit.

Nothing curious about the position, but if she's digging around the freezer, she'll find those ice-cream cups with wooden spoons, and drums. ]

[wanders to look out at the back exit. what's out here? does it lead anywhere else?]

are the drumsticks also here?

[ Looking out of the back exit, there's some shopping cart tracks and blood that's going towards the direction of the dorms.

Sorry, just one drum. The drumsticks are also tucked inside.

and then goes back inside. is there anything else to see in here...]

she's going to head back to the barricade. can she tell how the shelves were moved, since they looked heavy?

like are there drag marks on the floor leading to its original location...? or any damage to the barricade shelves? anything weird hiding in them, or under them?

she shows nimona what she found.]

... His arm was in the freezer with a drum.

[i know we're finished i'm just gonna give one more tag. is saya holding the arm. ig it doesn't really matter nimona's trying to not look at her because she has that multi-eye thing still going on, help.]

[she is but she has enough tact to, like, hold it behind her back. no looksies.

anyway, she is going to deposit the evidence somewhere safe and then gently tug nimona into a hug. the multi-eye thing does not bother her at all. farewell, cursed konbini. we're done here.]
