The bad weeks keep coming and they don't stop coming. At least the city is steadily being repaired, though. Starting this week, the S.U.P.E.R. is stopping at some new locations. Maybe something out there can help you let off some steam.

This week Aquamarine Fox, Cobalt Ox, Emerald Goat, and Gold Mouse can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the waxing gibbous phase, and it's looking a little pink. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

The good news is, your privacy seems to be restored! No longer are your thoughts out there for all to see, but instead... The bad news is, you might have trouble recognizing yourself in the mirror. You'll find yourself with animalistic or monstrous features this week - almost like something to be defeated by real heroes. But it's just physical, and it's what's inside that counts, right? ...Right?

WEEK 6, MONDAY

★ All locations have been repaired and restored to normal. Except for your dorm doors. Some of you never recovered those.
★ The hero memorial now has framed photos of Albedo, Lillium, and Kogitsunemaru, with small plaques detailing their heroic or villainous deeds.
★ The Mayor is still under protective care this week. He is not dead.
★ Another woven green bracelet has been added to the hero memorial.
★ Amethyst Snake is now located at the Speedway.
★ All the stores are decorated for Halloween. 🎃🦇🧙‍♀️💀
★ On the cafe roof, on the wall of the building itself, is a mural that has been painted. It's a collection of animals in this sort of style and composition, where they're all just sort of hanging out together.

The animals are as follows: a red rat flexing, a tawny owl with a notebook and a star necklace, a possum with a pink tie, a borzoi with headphones, a dragonfly with a shotgun, a tiger that's grinning lazily, a falcon with a stun gun, a rabbit with a sword in its mouth, an orange-pink cat with a mechanical leg, a lamb drinking tea, a jellyfish that's blowing bubbles, an otter with a cowboy hat, a raccoon that looks like it's made out of bark and bushes, a goat with a horde of kittens on its back, a stag with flames painted along its coat, a wolf with a gun, and a fox eating tofu as it reads.
★ Aquamarine Fox can be found admiring the above artwork.
★ After constant work last week, joining the mural on top of the cafe roof is a memorial accessible only by the remaining heroes and not the citizens of Oceanside. Starter plants have been planted and neatly arranged, a gazebo roof has been set up, and three niches have been arranged underneath the roof in a U formation. The shelves are accessible by lifting the fiberglass up like a cat door flap, ensuring any items or notes left in the space will remain safe from the elements. Fairy lights have been strung around each side of the gazebo and various decorations - both spooky and not - have been left to brighten up the space.

There's enough space for everyone that's died to have their own little sections, with extra room in the event of any more losses in the oncoming week. In the heart of each section is a small laminated card with funeral rites written in Greek, along with a candle, and an action figure identifying whose is whose.

A note has been left on a plaque nailed to one of the gazebo posts, asking for visitors to respect the dead and to not mess with anything that has been left behind. Additionally, a small table with incense has been left for those that would like to light any for the deceased.

Hanging from the gazebo, behind the center niche that makes up the U, is a black pirate's flag, fastened at each corner to keep it from flying off in a stiff breeze.
★ Every single dorm is going to find that as they step through the threshold of their front doors, there are screaming rugs that act as doormats now. They also appear to have been glued down. Happy Halloween!

WEEK 6, TUESDAY

★ A boat has been stolen from the shipyard and can be found clumsily docked a few miles down the beach. For one hour on Tuesday night after the Halloween party, muffled Caramelldansen can be heard coming from the cabin.

what's the goss?

A camera captured the sight of the mostest incredible heroes Burnout and JO☆JO together in the beach, and there's only one thing they can be doing: they must be plotting their defeat of everything wicked. What else could it be, it can't be anything else because these two are fighters and fighters fight and that means they're going to fight and really make their goals come true. You'll all see. Their strategy discussion didn't go unnoticed and judging from their faces it was a productive talk! We at the Harbinger can't wait to see them in action! We're open to any letters because there's only so much you can see through a photo, we want details!

Music Corner

My Heartfelt Apology - Call Me Selfish ★☆☆☆

A disappointing debut for the much anticipated solo artist. Despite the title of the album, the only track actually containing an apology of any sort was to an unrelated third party. Instead, the tone was rude and self-pitying, which is a choice, all things considered. This paper also received some clarifying comments from the artist, but considering the language used and the personal nature of the responses, we have decided not to publish it. Selfish should be careful, as there are unscrupulous reporters out there who would have no such compunctions.

The eponymous track is easily the worst on the album, but “The More They Know” was a particular low point for this reviewer, with lyrics like "everything will be ruined" and "they will be hurt" comparing unfavorably to work by better artists such as last year’s “The longer you let this drag out, the worse it will be." "If Anyone Finds Out" is an illogical mess, since the artist must be aware that someone inevitably will. It’s disappointing given that Selfish has shown the capacity for empathetic and thoughtful work in the past, so this reviewer must assume that they are simply choosing to make bad decisions out of a deep terror at the thought of acknowledging that the damage they’re afraid of doing has already been done, and the only thing they still have control over is just how bad it is, because the truth will certainly come to light eventually. Whew! If they made a more honest album, I'm sure it would also be badly received, but it would at least be better than continuing to delude themselves that they're happy with the little they've built up here.

The only bright spot on the album was the refreshing “Your little ███████ trick worked.” I already knew it did, but the point is, if we can expect more like that from Selfish, perhaps they will earn a better review for their follow up works.

SPORTS: FIELD BALL

A new sport, field ball, has been invented. Playing requires a field of grass, and two participants. To start, each player plucks blades of grass individually and then rolls them into a ball. The balls of grass are then flicked at the opposing player until one of them walks off in boredom.

TRAVEL: The Moon Is For Dogs

travelin to some weird illusion camera picture o home confirmed it but the moons on the side of the canines and im not taking quesitons here.

confirms a bunch of other stuff like disco bein probably evil and way too meowny meowin moon powers but thats not important.

Corrections

This newspaper would like to apologize to the many unhappy readers who wrote in claiming our horoscope columnist misstated your birthday. We have always held ourselves to the highest fact checking standards and we fell short. Of course, it is possible that horoscope was simply not for you? Weird that you read the Gemini column and made that assumption?

This newspaper would especially like to tip its cap to one very classy Libra, who delivered his corrections along with pastries and chocolates, or so I assume. Is it a violation of journalism ethics to accept this gift while writing our corrections section? Oh well. The Pisces horoscope should indeed have read Libra 2. Happy Birthday to a very good friend to journalism.

[ helloooooo oceanside. if you happen to be in the vicinity of the dorms today, you may find yourself staring at three large inflatable pumpkins on the roof of phoenix dorm!

if you look further up, you might spot a baby bat also up on the roof? some of you may not find him that familiar, considering he actually has color to his cheeks and he's grinning at his work, but he seems to be going along getting them set up and tied down. on the other hand, his wings are now way too large for his body and occasionally knock one of the pumpkins over.

and that's annoying? he looks a little frustrated as he keeps going in this cycle, but otherwise seems to be oblivious to anything below him.

…literally how did he get up there. maybe that's not the question to ask here. don't mind him…until several items roll off of the roof, including some rope, some tape, and maybe a hammer. heads up! ]

[ sidesteps getting hit by a hammer, looking down at it in confusion. everyone gets my transformation week copypasta. his tail is more like the dragon one here, the scales a glistening bronze but the hair/fur the same burnish orange that his tail usually is. he also has a lot of the same colored scales scattered everywhere in his fur, more visible on his face and hands where the fur is shorter. where things aren't bronze, there's a strange sort of black decay that's splotched in but he's trying to ignore that.

he picks up the hammer, and then tilts his head back to look up, curious. ]

The alarm on Wednesday comes a bit earlier than usual. It doesn't follow the usual pattern either. This one keeps going off until you check your phone and read the text message you've been sent.

UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH we don't know what happened but a bunch of villains broke out of jail? And they're messing up the town? Please do something about them!

A list of locations will pop up next, and it's up to you to grab groups of heroes to go capture these villains. Better move quickly, who knows how much damage they're causing!

There is a reported robbery at the bank! Calls report a villain known as The Trumpeter harassing the tellers. While trying to apprehend the villain responsible, they will run into the following problems:

★ He has geese for minions. They are everywhere. You will have to fight geese while dealing with this villain.
★ One of the bystanders will try to be a hero and help fight The Trumpeter. They have a baseball bat. Their aim is terrible.
★ The money being stolen is actually dye packs that explode very easily.

[ If you happen to be outside the hospital this evening, you might see three eldritch abominations emerging from the hospital. The biggest one is pushing the smallest one in an ergonomic office chair while the third walks (?) close beside them.

But you only have a few seconds to see this before there's a poof and they change into more familiar (and to most, more palatable) forms. ]

[ well. the one walking beside them poofs into a very gore-covered jolyne... she's walking slowly with an almost dead-eyed look, hair slicked back with... something. there's a sloppy sunburst of red immediately visible on her forehead, and more red dribbling down her face from her nose and her cracked lips, down her neck, and her arms.

she's wearing what looks like a pair of loose scrub pants, and a hospital gown that has the back slightly opened and slick with blood and more Fluid. and chunks of... grayish matter on her front.

jolyne just kind of pauses for a long moment and im sorry she just crumples to the ground like a rag doll. ]
