trial
Rise and shine. The sirens that filled the streets on Friday have died down, allowing you to spend the morning peacefully despite the news. It isn't until 11 AM that an alarm goes off on everyone's phone, citing a reminder for the trial taking place at the courthouse at noon. It turns off soon, but pops back up every ten minutes to ensure that you don't forget.
Shortly before 12 PM, all heroes feel a compulsion to head to the courthouse, where the staff direct you to one of the courtrooms reserved for the day's events. Attendance is mandatory, it seems, and once everyone has arrived, the doors close and lock behind them.
Yesterday's investigation was only the beginning. The real work begins now.
There will be a mod-tag break between 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST to 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

QUESTIONS
Amethyst Snake seems to be missing. The seat where they usually are is empty. However, next to the jury box, is a 10 foot tall black and gold robot. It's a good thing this room has such tall ceilings.
Crimson Phoenix watches the proceedings as impassively as ever. They don't pull away from Rabbit, but also don't take their hand as smoke begins to rise from where they grip the armrests of their chair.
White Tiger is sitting there and trying to be as normal as possible. Occasionally when they talk they have fangs though, and sometimes their fingers have turned into claws.
Yellow Rabbit is leaning over to attach a purple ribbon to the robot's wrist before they turn their attention to Phoenix. They will offer a hand to them after some thought.

To work, then. Today's victims are Lillium and Albedo. Lillium's body was discovered in the zoo - Albedo's, at the beach. By now, this ought to be routine in that we have a specific plan of attack.
First: where you slept. Albedo and Lillium were both at the halloween store, as were most if not all of us. Second: if you investigated yesterday, and your findings. Third: we ought to disseminate what powers or items have been used as left to us by our dear informant.
Please report all of your findings dutifully as you investigate, and cooperate when requested to do so. There are few of us left, which is a boon and a curse all at once: we must be stringent and thorough in all that we do.

Albedo's Body

To get the obvious out of the way -- his right arm was severed from his body. The wound at the top of his arm looked like a slice, rather than someone sawing at it. I don't have any way to ascertain what was used, but I imagine we can cross check weapons we find or weapons in our possession as we come across them. There wasn't any other evidence of injury on his right arm, hand and fingers though.
He was covered in black sand, which smelled like blood. It was generally all over him, but had collected around his throat where it was harder to remove. Probably because someone stabbed him through the throat, so there was a lot of blood there. There's a stab wound through the star on his neck. It pierces right through, and comes out towards the left side.
I didn't find any injuries on his head, just more black sand, but there were signs of suffocation on his face. His lips are discoloured, and his pupils were constricted and eyes reddened, like burst blood vessels. I didn't find evidence of bruising that would suggests strangulation though, and while there was sand in his nose, it wasn't enough to suggest he was still breathing once he was buried. I didn't find any sand in his mouth either.
His phone was in his pocket. I've put it over with the other evidence to be looked at.

Lillium's body
Took a look at Lillium, and I doubt anybody's surprised to hear he was chewed and mauled by tigers, considering where his body was found. It looks like his arms were the most chewed up, but then it moved down to his torso and his abdomen. He’s…um. Kind of missing pieces.
He was also slashed at around his torso, and clawed. There’s a stab wound in his gut, too, so that might’ve been something to disable him further to throw him in the tiger exhibit. It exited through his body all the way to the other side. Plus his entire back was bruised up, like he fell and landed hard. His shirt was soaked with blood and kind of singed, plus his jacket was pretty slashed up, but checking the body in those same places it looks like his skin was healed over. The bruises on his back were starting to heal, too. Might’ve used a remedy or two, I found some empty bottles on him someone can check. I also found his phone and a gun magazine, so it’s possible the bullets people found were actually his. Someone else can check.
Even though the slashes and burns were healed, the claw marks, teeth marks and gut stab were still there. So it means he probably healed once before they got to him again. One of his legs was missing, too. Ripped right at the knee, and if you somehow missed it both of his legs are prosthetic. Like Hanako mentioned in his report, the missing leg looks like it was yanked right off of him. It wasn’t a clean break. And the leg that was left behind was chewed on…more on the meat of his leg than the prosthetic, but I did find another slash going from flesh to prosthetic. So, someone attacking him probably. That looked healed over, too. And his foot’s damaged at the sole like it hit something pretty hard. There’s…a compartment on his leg that was hiding a weapon, but it didn’t look like he was able to grab for it in time. It was busted, I had to figure out how to pry it open just to grab it.
I think the most important part is that while he was chewed up mostly on his middle, there were some marks on his head and there was a different mark at his neck. Right on the jugular? When I did a comparison it didn’t look like they were tiger teeth. It was smaller and it was a single bite that broke through his skin. Maybe another animal. Probably about dog-sized? Like…[ he holds up his fingers to indicate the width you’d find on a medium to large-sized canine. ] So something else bit him. If I had to guess, it’s entirely possible that he was thrown into the tiger exhibit solely to cover up the bite mark to begin with. Which, by the way, kind of messed up! All of the claw marks appear to be tiger-shaped at least.
[ anyway this is a lot of talking so he just…shrugs after that and folds his arms over his chest. ]
So that’s that. We should probably do a weapons comparison against his slashes at least to start narrowing stuff down.

There was yet another bullet in a tree outside the enclosure — this one was actually really high up. In the enclosure itself, there was a bunch of blood and ceramic fragments, along with a busted-up drum, which... given our wonderball talk earlier, we probably have an idea what that is.
A little ways away from that there was a pair of swords — short, white, yellow tassels — with blood on 'em that it looked like maybe the tigers had been chewing on at some point. One of the tigers had a slash wound that looked like it could have come from one of those swords. Assume we'll wanna compare these to Lillium's wounds too.
There were some small prints of some kind near the bushes, and some clothes stuffed into the bushes themselves — a crop top and skinny jeans, it looks like.
So... yeah. Lots more stuff to look at, we can do this.

White Tiger is looking between Kogitsunemaru and Nico like they think a fight will happen. Amethyst Snake is watching carefully, but does not move from her spot. Yellow Rabbit is just going to walk over to Kogitsunemaru and hit him in the shoulder. Crimson Phoenix, still on fire, storms out of the courtroom.
Execution sign-ups are located here, but please read the instructions carefully and do not volunteer if you are unable to be around for the entirety of execution. In addition, team leaders will be available for audiences again tonight.
