a: looking at a rack with cat ear headbands thoughtfully. and then she shakes her head and walks away without taking one.

b: idly looking at some halloween decor... when suddenly, a motion-activated hanging ghost prop starts jiggling and OOHAHAHAing menacingly. startled, rita fucking shrieks and punches it, knocking it down to the floor.

c: hovering around hung. who hurt this dog. why did we let this happen. ]

[ okay well i rolled a five which means the ghost immediately hits him in the face with a startled "wah!" as he swings his arms on instinct to yeet it across the store.

Oh come on. You would've laughed if the same thing happened to somebody else. [ but he is setting up the little ghostie out of the way. ]

Yeah, I don't really see the appeal. This is all... what, for some weird festival?

It's for fun mostly. [ pokes the ghost. ] I think it's cheesy sometimes but mortals get really into this stuff. Did you ever read up on anything about Halloween?
