Early Friday morning, our heroes awaken to the moon setting, and finally, the freedom to leave the locations they fell asleep in the night before. It's a normal morning... if you ignore the sirens echoing through the city streets.

Police and prinnies have gathered in certain locations. With the sight of heroes giving them hope, they call upon you for help in searching for evidence, that we may all learn what happened on Thursday night.

So what are you waiting for? The investigation is yours.

Welcome, heroes, to your weekly investigation!

We will be posting top-levels for locations to be searched - one set at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST and the second at 7 PM EST / 4 PM PST. Each block will run for two hours during which characters can search the locations for evidence related to the events of Thursday night, and each location will have something to find. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.

Once the two hours are up - at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST for block one and 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST for block two - threads will no longer receive mod tags and the investigation will conclude for the night. Whether you find everything is up to you, but don't worry if you don't! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9 PM EST / 6PM PST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

otherwise, back to the blood footprint trail! let's follow it. it did not lead to the table, right? where does it go? ]

Truly. I hope for the best, yet fear the worst.

[ I can't even check for ammo because kogi is mostly down an arm. it's fine, he's old and probably would just end up shooting himself anyway. ]

There's nothing on the ceiling or anything else of note. It's back to the trail, which will lead him to a puddle of blood! It is also close to the booth that Kogi is investigating with his old man ways.

They can have nice cloth napkins at the buffet because it's trying to pretend to be classy. The bar has those paper ones. While gathering the objects, he may spot something on the far seat at the booth. ]

anyway. he takes a picture of the puddle. how big is it? is there anything in it?

also how close is it - like, is it close enough to the booth that there's blood on the booth or is it just a puddle close by. ]

[ It's a splattery pool of blood. It looks to be about a cups worth of blood.

It's a little bit away. Not close enough to get any of the blood on it, but not that far from it either.

Kogi will find a carton of cigarettes tucked away towards the back of the seat. That is all there is to find in this area of the bar. ]

great though. fun. funky fresh. where am i now, in the back of the bar?? he'll do a quick floor/ceiling check and check all of the booths back here to make sure there's nothing else going on, including under the tables.

otherwise you mentioned a buffet??? squints at locations. have we checked that yet. ]

[ A big one! There's nothing inside of it.

Temenos is in the back of the bar area where there are booths, but closer to the middle of the room.

Kogi is in the back corner.

There isn't anything in the bar area so it's buffet we go. It looks like the salt trail from the bar area heads to the buffet area before abruptly stopping in the middle of the floor. There is nothing else to find!

Kogi can go rest! We done here, boys. ]

[ gonna take ALL the pictures thank you!!! the trail just stops like its gone completely... it doesn't just taper off, like someone ran out? in other words its the same amount and then vanishes vs slowing down like someone ran out of pocket salt.

also just to be clear the trail goes across the bar and to the buffet area, right? is it just like a straight line? is it poured out in a large quantity or just a little bit? is it steady? i forgot to ask any of these questions.

SORRY I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION: is the salt trail separate from the footprint trail or do they converge

It's a steady amount and not large amount. It goes from the bar area to the buffet. ]
