Early Friday morning, our heroes awaken to the moon setting, and finally, the freedom to leave the locations they fell asleep in the night before. It's a normal morning... if you ignore the sirens echoing through the city streets.
Police and prinnies have gathered in certain locations. With the sight of heroes giving them hope, they call upon you for help in searching for evidence, that we may all learn what happened on Thursday night.
So what are you waiting for? The investigation is yours.════════ ⋆★⋆ ════════
Welcome, heroes, to your weekly investigation!
We will be posting top-levels for locations to be searched - one set at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST and the second at 7 PM EST / 4 PM PST. Each block will run for two hours during which characters can search the locations for evidence related to the events of Thursday night, and each location will have something to find. Please coordinate investigation groups on Discord, as we ask that group threads consist of no more than 2-3 characters.
Once the two hours are up - at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST for block one and 9 PM EST / 6 PM PST for block two - threads will no longer receive mod tags and the investigation will conclude for the night. Whether you find everything is up to you, but don't worry if you don't! Characters will get the chance to revisit locations tomorrow at trial. At 9 PM EST / 6PM PST, an announcement will go up, confirming the victim(s).

Axel definitely isn't like...super fast at this sort of thing. Especially since he's not a firefighter, and doing this one tree at a time. Slowly.
Also since Axel is going at this carefully, for these slash marks, how big are they? Monstrous slash marks, blade slash marks, or small claw-like slash marks? ]

a footprint! fuck yeah! can she see if it is bigger or smaller than her own. otherwise she is going to put her foot next to it and take a picture for trial. does it lead out anywhere in a particular direction? is it. just one foot.

Axel continues putting out the trees. It doesn’t look like massive slash marks, and it's too big to be claws.

once the fire's out, is there anything else to see on the ground out here that it was hiding before? any objects on the ground besides the blood pool that may or may not have survived the hose, any spots where it looks like something might be buried? ]

Axel will take pictures of the slash marks. If he gets closer, can he tell if they were made from a bladed weapon, then? Also how many are there? Are the slash marks also on all the trees? ]

she'll check around here where the footprint is a bit, trying to see if there's like... blood, or any signs of things being buried, or maybe discarded objects or clothes or a thread on a tree.]

Now that the fire isn't still going, Datz can also see some blood further away from the pool. There's not as much of it.
Nothing looks like it was buried here.
Axel can tell some kind of bladed weapon made these marks. There's some snapped branches and some blood here and there. The slashes aren't on every tree, but they're on a lot of them.
There are none of these things where Nimona currently is. Animals tend not to stick around where there's a fire. Peace out. ]

how high up are those slash marks in the trees btw? are they like, a height that would indicate typical ground-level fighting or are they up high or something?
if he can't find anything else here he'll go swing by the lake and whatever other areas there are that nimona didn't already check? if there are any? ]

Going on the path around the lake, Datz can see a body on the ground. He'll have to get closer to see who it is.
