Whew, what a stressful way to end a week! After that, maybe our heroes could use a relaxing stroll downtown? Just hop on the S.U.P.E.R. to check out the new locations!

This week Amethyst Snake, Crimson Phoenix, White Tiger, and Yellow Rabbit can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the new moon phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

You may not be feeling cuddly anymore, but now there's a new problem. When you go to use your personal powers this week, you'll find that it does something you're not expecting. Hey, isn't that someone else's power? Better learn how that works fast, before you cause more problems in the city!

[these poor fireprinnies are so stressed out.

anyway, tarkea is on fire! there's a lot of flammable stuff in here, so that is probably not great. the fireprinnies are running around in a panic, and i am assuming there are probably several firetrucks parked around the vicinity since tarkea's a big building. these fireprinnies are not using the hoses to put out the fire. that's not great.

maybe the heroes should lend a hand?

[Sigrun always was a quick person in general, thanks to the need for good speed during trollhunting. However, with these wings that help increase one's agility, she seems unstoppable! There she is, zooming by like the air is where she belongs. Even though it hasn't been that long Sigrun has been practicing as much as she can, from early in the morning, and by now she has the art of flying well!

The landings are still tricky, though, she has taken stumbles that make her roll on the asphalt for several meters, but she always gets up.

There she is, going back and forth bringing water by the gallon]

This is going to be done fast!

[Sigrun is clearly enjoying herself]

[the fire is burning! the fireprinnies let out a cheer when sigreat flies overhead with her gallons of water. their panic is not entirely gone, but it is eased slightly.

however, one of the fireprinnies gets so excited running after her to see her fly that they end up right in the path of some of the water she's dumping.

they're soaked! it falls! and with a roll of 3, some of the structure of tarkea starts to collapse. oh no! it looks like the fireprinny will be crushed!

one of them screams, "HELP, DOOD!" while gesturing at their fallen friend with a flipper. what do you do, sigreat?]

[I can't believe I got a 19 roll.

Sigrun reacts immediately. Sigrun flies and grabs the fireprinny to pull it away from the collapsing Tarkea, saving him--

Oh. No, she's not doing that. Sigrun kicks the fireprinny into the air because that's much faster than having to land and pick him up. At least it wasn't a full-on kick, it was more like wedging a foot underneath the fireprinny and then getting him to go upwards, and she grabs him in the air like she's catching a rugby ball.

Before long, she lands near the trucks, leaving the fireprinny on the pavement]

I think that should count as two heroic actions. Wasn't that the awesomest?

[sigreat punts the fireprinny into the air! he screams, not realizing with his perception check of 8 that this is meant to help, and thinks for a moment that perhaps this is a villain masquerading as his idol who is trying to turn him into prinny flambe. he struggles when she grabs him in midair, but is unable to break free even in his panic.

but then she grabs takes him back over to the truck. he collapses to the ground. the other fireprinnies applaud politely.




in the background, the tarkea fire rages.]

[ Well, there sure is a lot of shit going down. But that fire ain't going to put itself out.

Axel's going to grab a hose and try to tackle some of the fire too, because yeah, let's go. ]

Sheesh, talk about working overtime.

[ He's complaining but you better believe he's working at it as hard as he can, yo. ]

[ THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON.

But he's here to back Axel up with the hose. ]

Aim at the base of the fire!

[teamwork makes the dream work! rave and vanine flawlessly retrieve a hose from the firetruck and turn it on tarkea. fwooooooosh go the water. the fireprinnies watch this happen with awe! wow, it's like they're watching a training video, except in person, and also there is fire.

with a roll of 18, our intrepid heroes hear something above the roar of the flames.

they hear someone shouting from inside the building.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, YOU CAN'T RING ME UP? I CAME HERE TO MAKE A PURCHASE!"




sounds like there's a karen in there preventing the employees from escaping from the fire! what do you do?]

[ The red head turns his head immediately in the direction of the voice. Then he nods — before focusing right on attempting his best to help extinguish the flames billowing right in front of them. Axel is great at setting them, not putting 'em out, but here they go!

...Then, all of that happens. The look on his face reads 'are you kidding me'. ]

Damnit, who's being a pain in the — Vane, can you just. Back me up? Either with keeping the fire at bay, or come along with me! I might need help in grabbing whoever is making a mess of things, and carryin' em out if they're getting in the way of other people!

[ Can't believe he's doing this, but Axel is going to just...run into the building with some buckets nearby. If there's any flames in the way he's going to throw them, and make an attempt to deal with the Karen, shouting at them there's a fire and to GET OUT. ]

[this is the funniest thing to happen all week (it is monday)

anyway, saya walks up to the fire trucks and cheerfully starts to bully the fireprinnies out of them so someone actually competent can take over. this is her contribution you're welcome(?)]

[ coming along behind "you're still injured" coming along behind and sighing. ]

Thanks, Saya... [ no real sympathy for the prinnies at the moment considering the are. so useless. but he will go figure out how the hoses work in this fiasco of a situation. ]

[the prinnies, in their panic, seem to be of two minds about this.

on the one hand - about half of them are more than willing to let beauty and guardian take over! they don't want to be here. they're so afraid of this fire.

on the other, the other half are terrified that they're going to lose their jobs for letting a child and a furry use the firetruck. some of them are already on probation, dood! how will they pay their rent and feed their families like this?

so. while they're half successful in their takeover of the firetruck, a trembling fireprinny bars the way to the hose.

"Wait! Are you trained to use that? Our liability insurance might not cover an unauthorized user, dood!"]

[he's here in the aftermath to heroically run into the building and start plugging in toasters and stuff so the fire prinny investigators will conclude this was electrical in nature.]

well i got a nat 20 on this one, so yeah, all of the fireprinny inspectors will fully believe this was an electrical fire. good going, greatest psychic of the 21st century!

on his way out, reigen will hear them discussing...

"This was the toaster's fault, dood."

"No, dood! It was this grill over here!"

"What are you talking about, dood? It was clearly this waffle maker!"

"...I want waffles now, dood..."]

That's recoverable but it doesn't matter. They'll never prove it definitively.

anyway while some of the fire prinnies are running around in a panic and the other prinnies and heroes seem to be doing a Good Job of getting the fire put out - albedo's darting into the fire to look for any trapped civilians or prinnies that still need rescuing/did not get evacuated on time! ]

[kreideprinz darts straight into the burning building! a few fireprinnies who witness this begin to oooooh and aaaaaah about how heroic this is of him, dood. they still do not make any effort to actually put the fire out.

inside tarkea, he will find



a civilian! maybe? it is a someone wearing all black, and also a ski mask. he's got a gun.

he looks very surprised to see the hero-in-training.

"Oh shit, man! I didn't set this fire! I was just going to rob them like a normal person!"]

[ jokes aside, that is fine, even if the prinnies are not attempting to put the fire out sigrun and co sure are, so at least his path is somewhat not-so-obstructed?

he's not expecting to run into someone who's trying for attempted robbery inside a burning building but you know what, he's dealt with worse. also the dice gods gave me a 14 so he's going to attempt to try and reason with this civillain (?) before he resorts to Desperate Measures ]

Normal people would be running out of a fire instead of thinking of a robbery, so I suggest that you come with me if you don't want to end up... crispy?

[ right on cue there's a piece of debris that is still smoking that drops next to them but also misses them soooooo. is there anything even worth robbing in tarkea now. most of it is wood? ]

It was an electrical fire, don't worry. [ thank you reigen nat20 ] I'll be sure to tell the police that so you don't get charged for that if you come with me.

[resumed]

[ he's still probably walking around with nimona to help her calm down from earlier by the time this happens, so he stops, arm in arm with her, and sort of tilts his head as he watches the prinnies flip the fuck out. ]

...you know, they were about this helpful when the konbini was on fire the other week, too. What do you think? Firehoses are pretty fun.
