Sunday morning starts off quietly enough, almost peaceful after the events of the past few days. Today, the alarm on everyone's phone starts at 12 PM, with a reminder of the execution to take place at 1 PM at the stadium. Unlike the Saturday notifications, however, this is the only reminder you get. It appears that attendance is not mandatory this time.

Well. Not for all of you, anyway. One of you feels a compulsion to head to the stadium, heading straight inside and following the staff to ready themselves for what's to come. All others who arrive at the stadium, hero or civilian, are led to spectator seating.

As the clock strikes 1 PM, Hans walks into the arena. On the opposite end of the field, Hung steps out to greet them. As long as they both live, neither will able to leave the area, nor will any outsiders be able to enter.

You don't have to watch, of course. That's your choice. But with the event being broadcast all over the city, it may be hard to avoid. In-person or across town, everywhere is buzzing with gossip of the newly discovered villain about to face justice. Regardless of where you go or whether you choose to watch, the only thing to do now is wait.

[ adlet's here obviously and he just smiles. huffs out a laugh that's mostly empty but that's the mood. ]

Of course it's something like this.

[glances at him.]

[ he glances back and tips his head in acknowledgement, lets his smile drop for her. usually he'd come over but it's probably understandable that he's staying where he is, back against the wall. ]

[that's ok, she's over here holding hands with ox -- wait did we just get fucking daisychained]

[ we totally did. that makes adlet laugh once he realizes it. ]

We're stuck together again, huh?

[looking away from every ox.]

I hate it here.

[ a touch sardonic: ]

I think I'm supposed to be the one who says that.

[Adlet's in an awful place, isn't he?

Well it's fine, Ox will take his hand in theirs and hold onto it.]

that catches him off-guard but he doesn't flinch away. ]

Sorry, meant to visit you last night but I was busy.

It's okay, it happens. You can visit me after this.

[They are stuck together for 30 minutes now so.]

Ah, right... [ he's been stuck to so many people this week, help. despite everything, he still manages to look a little sheepish. ]

At least it wasn't my right hand. [ waves it, which now has a bandage on it. ]

[They can both look sheepish over it.]

What happened to your hand?

Hans last night.

You punched him last night???

What? No. He scratched me.

[ he somehow manages to say this all normally. ]

[ oof. datz glances over with concern, but he doesn't think he has any business butting into ox family time, so he's keeping his distance. ]

Then, he gazes on the execution happening before their very eyes. Or, rather...ending. ]
