After a weekend like that, maybe you're up for a little shopping? Good news is, that the Waterfront Shopping Mall has reopened this week. Go see a movie, adopt a pet, or maybe take some cute photos with friends! They can just hop on the S.U.P.E.R. to get to the new locations!

This week Aquamarine Fox, Cobalt Ox, Emerald Goat, and Gold Mouse can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the waning crescent phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

Looks like your luck is improving and you're starting to get to know each other better. Don't you feel closer to everyone already? This week, they will find themselves compelled to be physically affectionate in whatever way is appropriate. Hold hands!

[ you know he's been tv trained when he does a whole wink and heart routine at the camera while before returning to his default expression. ]

I can't help but feel like these puns might make people even LESS likely to ride.

Speaking of wanting to ride the train, isn't it supposed to be here by now?

I thought it was... [ looks up from snickering, ears perking up.

the civilians are a little restless, pushing each other on the platform. ] Oh, that's not good.

[ dryly ]

It seems to have agitated them instead.

[ you can tell Kogi smells a fight approaching because he suddenly shifts from relaxed grandpa mode to Alert. ]

Hmmm...... That may be a problem.

[selfdestructs]

An announcement for the delay would have been nice, wonder if their speaker system is down.

[ cue lots of yelling and people getting worse with the shoving. ]

We may need to make that announcement ourselves and cool any tempers that may be rising.

[ as she goes to stand on a bench, to do just that, there's a loud ] HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING, IDIOT!! [ hmmm.... seems the fight has begun here, as well. ]

Could we access the speaker system from somewhere nearby? [Janeway has been trying her best with local tech but she's really not up on 21st century train station announcement systems.]

It'd be nice if we could... hey! Break it up!

[ hung is like those dogs that interfere in cat brawls. he wades through the bustle of the crowd to deal with the escalation. ]

Come on, guys, don't push people on the platform - what're you going to do if someone falls on the rails?

I suppose this shall count as our heroism for the week, hm?

[ like hung, kogi swans into the crowds, apparently scary enough to simply raise his eyebrows to have things die down to grouchy complaints. wow! amazing. heroes are so powerful. couldn't possibly the fact that he was starting to stepford smile with his hand on his sword ]

Everything happens, so much, all of the time. [ she sighs. and as the commotion gets louder and louder, she has to rub her head. ] Okay. Time for a new approach.

[ look. she's very cute in her hero fit, so who is going to be able to say no to her! especially as she does a twirl and winks. ]

Hey, friends! I know you're all very frustrated right now, with the train being delayed and there being lots of people on the platform. But please be mindful of your neighbor and do your best not to push each other! We don't want anyone getting hurt!

[ her charisma seems to manage to reel things in, for the time being. and after she hops down from the bench, a citizen comes up to her, looking very frazzled. ]

I have an appointment across town in 30 mins! If the train doesn't get here soon, I'm going to lose everything!!!

[ this is very dramatic. she looks a lil taken aback by this. ] I assure you, we are doing everything we can, to get the S.U.P.E.R. back up and running, it shouldn't be too much longer.

[ help ]

[Janeway's going to get the attention of a slightly frazzled transit employee, and quietly talk to them.]

Excuse me, how much longer is the delay?

It should be here in just a few minutes, we're keeping a watch on the train situation and will have an update as soon as possible.

[She thanks them and heads back over to the group. ]

We have a problem. [She says in a low voice to whoever she gets to first.] They have no idea when the next train is coming.

[tongshi]

[ dva is doing great, and kogi's intimidated some of them into compliance. hung's ear twitches towards janeway and he - frowns. ]

Oh no... this is going to escalate, isn't it?

[ voices raise again,and tempers with them, as some of the civilians not cowed or charmed get more into it: ]

No, I need to get on the next train! Move it! Let me be at the front - if I don't get on there, there'll be hell to pay!!!

I was here, first, schmuck! This is my spot and I'm not giving it up..! I'll throw you on the tracks if I have to!!

[ there's a moment kogi truly thinks they're gonna have to go fetch the train themselves. however, that sounds far beyond his purview so we're just gonna deal with the current situation instead. thus he will be stepford smiling at the attempted pushers, head tilted in seemingly good humor to Deal With grouchy tempers ]

No one shall be doing anything of that sort if you wish to reach your destination.

Use your heroics and get the train already!

[ the nerve of these npcs- ]

[ she is just dissociating while all this chaos happens, watching everything go wrong. it really is starting to feel pointless, with how nothing they say or do is helping. and with more shoving comes more shouting and....

watches as a child gets knocked over, then is about to be trampled. her hero senses kick in and she rolls to scoop them up, projecting a glowing green barrier to shield them both from the crowd. the kid is frazzled and lost. ] Mommy... where's mommy?

[ this is the last straw.

standing up, child on her hip, and bringing the barrier down. she let's her voice get real loud. ]

Alright. That is enough! I need everyone to pause and take a look around! All of this chaos is doing nothing but making things worse. If you all want any good to come of this, you best stop acting like fools and pay attention!

[ hana song has HAD IT. ] Now, let's find your mother. Then it's time to clean this whole mess up.

[ guess yelling did the trick, the shoving and shouting has stopped. ]

[Theres a whole lot of shouting, and Janeway's going to step in during the brief pause in the noise.]

Obviously there are some issues to work out with timing trains to account for the increased popularity of the transit system [this is supposed to be an promotional news event after all] but you will be able to get to your destinations. Everyone here has places to go, please just wait patiently while the people in charge of transportation get everything running smoothly again.

[tongshi]

[ hung snatches a hand out to snag a young lady by the arm, who has precariously found herself on the edge of the platform. with a reassuring smile, he nudges her back into the crowd, very carefully. ]

That's right. I'd like it if everyone could please heed Voyager's advice. Now! [ claps once, before he takes his shield off his back and slides it onto his arm for a greater barrier as he stands on the platform's warning line. ] If you're standing on the line, I advise you to back up, or else Kitsune will have to ask you nicely to do so.

[ everyone get out of dva's way so she can find this child's mother. thanks! ]

[ do yall remember this is currently being live broadcasted? kogi does. so while he's certainly being his usual foxy self, there certainly is a flair to the patrol he's doing. ]

All will reach their destination. Pushing will do nothing but delay your trip more. Please watch where you stand and be aware of your surroundings.

[ he winks at one of the groups of teens waiting and you know, despite the fact he was a little scary about .02 seconds ago that sure is a kyaaaaa! happening from that corner of the platform. idols.


it does however seem to relax the general mood by 10% so maybe he actually knows what he's doing ]

he pipes up in the back with: ] Our train operators have a one track mind: your safe journey!

[ this group has done great and with everyone’s help they’ve finally calmed the crowd. :amen:

now that its calm, it doesn’t take long to locate the child’s mother, who is more than thankful to the heroes! dva gives the kid a head pat, smiling at both of them. ]

Everything got a bit off the rails there, but we’ve gotten things back on track!

[ said confidentiality! ]

[ kogi's hair tuffs to twitch and he looks up from patting a kid on the head ]

Oya? It seems as our comments have worked it's magic. Perhaps our locomotive has done its work.

[ that was terrible ]

[ yes, he's just bringing up the lines they were discussing before things started happening. but now they're being broadcasted for all of oceanside to see and it's Fine. ]
