After a weekend like that, maybe you're up for a little shopping? Good news is, that the Waterfront Shopping Mall has reopened this week. Go see a movie, adopt a pet, or maybe take some cute photos with friends! They can just hop on the S.U.P.E.R. to get to the new locations!

This week Aquamarine Fox, Cobalt Ox, Emerald Goat, and Gold Mouse can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the waning crescent phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

Looks like your luck is improving and you're starting to get to know each other better. Don't you feel closer to everyone already? This week, they will find themselves compelled to be physically affectionate in whatever way is appropriate. Hold hands!

Why's it have a bell in the first place? Maybe we can use it to lure the cat down. [ adlet is also not going to stop this, but he is glancing up at the tree where the cat is trapped. ]

Why to use a bell when we can just climb up? [Sigrun suggests, as if it's that simple. It never is simple when it comes to a possible dice roll trying to screw someone up, haha]

[ As they're discussing this, Axel has officially engaged in serious combat with the goose.

By which he means he's trying to nab the bell away from said creature, and failing. Miserably. ]

The cats here seem quite spooked if you get too close to them...

[ thankfully albedo seems to be pretty good at not emoting because

it's actually a pretty hilarious sight, watching axel get into a scuffle with a goose that's determined to protect its bell, and he's also pretty sure some of the civilians are taking videos of the altercation.

anyway. he's wiping a smudge of dirt off his cheek and waving at the videographers, and then turning to adlet in all seriousness: ] Maybe the goose stole it from somewhere.

That means the goose is a criminal, so we shouldn't hold back!

[ he was going to climb up on the tree after the cat but now he's going to join axel in his melee...!! with a 9 so i guess this goose really has moves. ]

How are you all struggling with a goose of all things?!

[And Sigrun doesn't go to help. Instead, she goes to do what she meant to do, which is climb a tree, and fails miserably, not being able to get a foothold, and when she did, she got up a little before falling backwards on the grass.

The only thing she succeeded at was encouraging the cat to get on a higher branch than before to get away from the weird woman trying to climb the tree. Thanks, 2 in the dice roll, you such a pal]

Don't underestimate geese!

[ Peace was never an option. But things start to heat up so we can pretend there's an iteration of Tension Rising playing right about now as the creature does some matrix dodging.

Axel tries to scoop it up and also fails. Miserably, tripping over his feet and meeting dirt. Perfect for the cameras. ]

[ I am just pretending that this is happening near albedo so that he has to abandon his trowel before scooting out of the way so that axel doesn't actually fall on him - and there's probably some angry squawking involved while adlet and axel deal with their goose related problem.

guess those trees are taking a while to get planted, then!!

anyway in the meantime, while he's scooting out of the way for the Epic Boss Battle with the goose, he'll go and join sigrun! ]

Hold on, I have something that might help--

[ reaches into his pocket. he has a cat treat there, which he will casually toss to sigrun. ]

[ he rolled a 13 so he actually was probably going to make some progress on the geese, but adlet decides to give the goose a free action since he's going over to axel to help him.

sticking out his hand. ]

The cat turns its head away like it's insulted this particular treat was offered. Good grief]

[ He reaches for the hand, and then I guess his hand gets stuck because of the effect, so after he tries to move away he finds out that pretty soon. ]

[ What is this, some kind of slapstick comedy scene?! ]

[ hecking crying. while boss fight team are dealing with the whole... hand stuck together thing (rip in weekly effects, help) there's passer-by's cheering adlet's tiny progress against the goose boss.

meanwhile in cat rescue land the cat is looking at both albedo and sigrun like the cat treat is actually offensive to her, and it's progressed from meowing to hissing. since the cat treat didn't work it's back to the drawing board, and-- ]

I think only one of us should climb the tree if we have to so as to minimise injuries?

[ he asks stupidly because it takes him a second or two to realize it.

Not again. I thought it was a wonderball thing! [ just looking off to the side where he's definitely not blushing, nope. ]

[Without waiting for response she crouches, intertwining her hands to make a platform to be able to boost Albedo up]

You better hold onto the trunk while I stand up.

[ So many people are bound to be getting this silly effect by the end of the week...rip in rest.

This is Axel's first time landing straight into it, though. ]

...Great. Well, hopefully this goes away soon.

[ The goose in the meanwhile stands there. Victorious. Mocking. Smug.

He then points at his eyes and at this geese. ]

Once this wears off we go for the little guy. Immediately. If we can surround it somehow...

You make it sound like I'm going to explode on you. Any ideas on how to get the little one safely down after? I'm not keen on just throwing it down for you to catch, that sounds dangerous.

[ that's not how his power works!! but to his credit he doesn't sound like he's offended, just amused. anyway, he'll take sigrun's hands as a platform and hoist himself up.

good thing there is a climbing mechanic in genshin so he is Very Good at climbing up a 7 foot tall tree, inching closer and closer to the kitten that's absolutely going to start hissing at him once he gets closer. ]

It took a bit last time...

[ but goose hunting helps him refocus actually. ]

We're covering a larger area like this. We could go for him now, it'd be harder for the goose to get away from us.

No, throwing the cat down isn't an option.

[Poor cat deserves better than that. Sigrun looks around, seeing nothing that could be a better way for the furball to get off there once Albedo reaches it. OH hey, maybe the other two...

While Albedo tries to get the cat, Sigrun waves at Axel and Adlet]

Hey, stop chasing that bird and come here for a moment! I need one of you to stand there, and one to get on our hands!

[Clearly she's unaware they're joined together, hah. As soon as she sees that problem this option for getting the cat down will be discarded and the goose catching shenanigans may continue]

Maybe it'd work out...

[ Trying to figure the logistics here but also wary of the goose tripping them up while they're like this. The struggle.

Then Sigrun calls out to him, which hey. ]

Thaaaat's not happening any time soon! Our hands are stuck to each other's!

[ pauses and..... blinks. oh. that. ]

[ yes he is still halfway up the tree. taking the chance to refill stamina rn. ]

Sigrun maybe you should stand on their hands instead, since they're stuck together?

[ it could work? theoretically? ]

Yeah, we could give you double the boost like this!

[ cmon axel lets go, he's abandoning the goose (but will the goose abandon them) to go help sigrun out. ]

I kind of hope the goose won't leave them alone even at a time like this, haha. Sigrun stands a bit away from the tree]

No worries, I'll make this quick. Hardly the first time I have received cats from higher places.

[She avoids mentioning she didn't come unscathed from such times before]

[ The goose seems to not chase the two as both rolls went over 10.

...However, does it mean it has given up? Nope.

Coincidentally, there is time for all three of them to get into position. :> ]

Eh, well...I see no reason not to believe you won't. Just be careful anyways, alright?

[ For now Axel gets into position presumably with Adlet and whatever is most convenient for her to make her ascent. ]

[ MY BAD LUCK STRIKES AGAIN because I rolled a 6 so this is what is happening at the top of the tree while the coordination is happening below:

albedo has managed to ascend the top of the tree where the kitten is clearly panicked and hissing at him but since it's at the top of the tree there's nowhere else to go, which is why albedo reaches for another cat treat to try to calm the scared kitten while he makes a grab for it







which mostly works except that the tree branch that he's making a lunge from kind of breaks under his weight and the sudden movement and I guess he's falling from seven feet above while grabbing onto the kitten (he is, however, holding the kitten close to him so that it doesn't get hurt during the fall???)

someone catch him pls ]
