Sunday morning starts off quietly enough, almost peaceful after the events of the past few days. Today, the alarm on everyone's phone starts at 12 PM, with a reminder of the execution to take place at 1 PM at the stadium. Unlike the Saturday notifications, however, this is the only reminder you get. It appears that attendance is not mandatory this time.

Well. Not for all of you, anyway. One of you feels a compulsion to head to the stadium, heading straight inside and following the staff to ready themselves for what's to come. All others who arrive at the stadium, hero or civilian, are led to spectator seating.

As the clock strikes 1 PM, Mika walks into the arena. On the opposite end of the field, Temenos steps out to greet them. As long as they both live, neither will able to leave the area, nor will any outsiders be able to enter.

You don't have to watch, of course. That's your choice. But with the event being broadcast all over the city, it may be hard to avoid. In-person or across town, everywhere is buzzing with gossip of the newly discovered villain about to face justice. Regardless of where you go or whether you choose to watch, the only thing to do now is wait.

Not at all. None of the events over the last few days have been planned or expected, my dear fox.

If they are to be believed, it makes one wonder why such events stopped before our arrival and why they started again.

Given such a large unknown group of individuals, all with abilities most do not have....? One would think somebody would see us returned quickly as possible.

You would think. [ They seem lost in thought for a moment before they place their hand on Kogi's arm ] We shouldn't discuss such things here. One of our Bunnies is out there and would probably hate to miss such a discussion.

Things certainly have become interesting.

Interesting is a word for it. I think I should consider starting lessons on how to dodge.

[ It would seem they aren't worried, if it wasn't for the way their hand tightened for a moment on his arm. ]

Perhaps basic first aid as well.

[ kogi absently pats Bunchou's hand while he watches Tem with sharp eyes but he seems to have a handle on it. phew. at least he knows not to pull the arrow out entirely even if that must hurt like nobody's business right now. a part of him wonders where the human healer(s) is but like, given how there are so many people are missing.....

I do wonder how healthy he actually is. I really should pay more attention.

There is a pause as it takes a moment to realize who he is referring to. ]

Oh them? They tried breaking out the Little Mouse from jail. They unfortunately got caught in the act.

I should have expected something like that.

While I should admonish them, I can't help but feel a little proud of their actions. It takes quite the personality to break the rules for a friend or their beliefs.

However, they should learn how to sneak properly instead of rushing in.

Perhaps we shall add that to the lesson plans as well.

[ he's mostly joking. maybe ]

I'm not such a generous person to teach everyone for free, Little Fox.

Oh? Were you planning it for free? I would have at least asked for a supply of delicious fried tofu to impart my wisdom upon the children.

Perhaps after a rest and fresh week to look forward to.

[ not that it'll help the lingering Sad but, it's the mindset, right? he does look a little pleased at how happy mika is to win but like. ouch. his kokoro hurts. are you sure we can't just anarchy our way out of this? ]

[ It is such a bittersweet moment with the girl smiling. They aren't quite sure what to do for a moment, and decide to instead focus Kogi.

Giving a smile as they point to him. ]

This is why you're my favorite. [ Do their heavy lifting! ] Remember, our dear Bunny is weak. It would be best to carry him like a princess.

Once more, Rabbit's actions are different from their words. They tighten their hold again, knowing it can't be easy for Temenos to do this. ]

[ They do appreciate it. ]
