Whew, what a stressful way to end a week! After that, maybe our heroes could use a relaxing stroll downtown? Just hop on the S.U.P.E.R. to check out the new locations!

This week Amethyst Snake, Crimson Phoenix, White Tiger, and Yellow Rabbit can be found patrolling the city or watching construction.

If you wander the streets, you're sure to run into a prinny or two trying to sell you the Monday newspaper. Looks like there is something spicy this week! Luckily, you always seem to have the right amount of cash for such things.

Should heroes go stargazing at night, they will find that the moon appears to be in the new moon phase. Yes, all week. Villains tend to wander more at night, however, so the local authorities would suggest staying in after dark, unless you plan to try your hand at fighting crime. They welcome the help.

It appears that they have earned some new tokens to use on the AMAZOOM app. What cards will they get this week?

You may not be feeling cuddly anymore, but now there's a new problem. When you go to use your personal powers this week, you'll find that it does something you're not expecting. Hey, isn't that someone else's power? Better learn how that works fast, before you cause more problems in the city!

[Sigrun is just...sitting on the fountain, staring very intently at a specific spot not too far away. Anyone who comes by gets a wave, and she points at that spot]

Mine is right there. Don't get close.

[ squints at nothing ]

How can you tell?

Because I saw her disappear, around forty minutes ago.

[She just leans backwards]

I'm just waiting for the power to run out of juice before I swoop by and defeat her.

[hanaban]

Oh, there's a time limit?

[ Even so, it's effective. Who else would have the patience for a staring contest? not Hanako.

He's going to crouch down and scoop up a handful of dirt, spitting onto it and mixing it in to make mud. ]

Where'd you say she is again?

Right there. [She points again] She has a knife, so throw that from a distance!

[Don't get too close or else there might be stabbings!]

You worry too much! She's going to have to move if she wants to stab me.

[ watch him get stabbed because he gets up close trying to smear mud on the clone's face ]

[ blinks and then leans in to whisper: ]

Right there? Just standing still?

Exactly. My power is great for ambushing but not all that good if you disappear right in front of your enemy's eyes.

[In the confusion of a fight? Yeah, totally! It's really useful! But when you were walking in the open and then you see who you want to attack and before anything happens you just...stand still and stay silent waiting for a chance to strike? Yeah, no]

I think my copy isn't very clever.

Why not just beat the crap out of her now while she literally isn't moving? No point in an ambush in an open spot...

It's been fun to see how far she's willing to go for staying completely still!

[And Sigrun again takes water into a hand, splashing it in direction of where the copy is. Judging by how most of the water didn't fall onto the pavement and instead disappeared, it hit the target.

I rolled a 7, so the clone still is doing her best to not move]

She also has gotten mud, scented oil, and a punch from Danny.

[Okay, part of the reason why Sigrun hasn't attacked really might be because she's waiting to see if the copy is worthy of any respect at all. She can afford to dilly-dally because the clone is no threat even though it has a dagger, really, if she thought there was serious danger she'd have taken her down, yup]

Stand Still Stay Silent, right?

[ jiiiiii, staring at the spot like a fucking actual dog ]

That's right! I think she was counting on me to lose track of her before disappearing.

[Which didn't happen at all, and now her copy is stuck on one spot]

Too bad! As soon as the power runs out I'll swoop by and it'll all be over for her!

[ hm. hands her a spray bottle of essential oil. ]

I got this because of you and Danny's powers, to make it easier to track. So. This might help if you can't take her out in one shot.

Quick thinking, my fluffy friend!

[Let her take the essential oil, uncork the bottle, come closer, and then in one swift move she swings the bottle, letting the oil splash in the air.

Curious thing, most of the drops just disappear in thin air. Pretty much a confirmation they landed and stuck on the copy!]

If I were her I'd be so embarrassed about doing so badly.

[Sigrun isn't impressed in the slightest with her clone!]

what happens if he just goes over to that random spot and punches the air there ]

[I rolled a 6.

Danny punches the spot and apparently the clone decides that naaaah, she'll stay hidden out of sight because she prefers to aim for Sigrun if she gives the chance, so Danny sure gets to punch without a retaliation.

It's a most curious sensation, the punch whizzes through the air but at the same time he'll feel a fleeting resistance for a very brief second, before the fist continues.

Sigrun whistles]

Staying perfectly still even though she got punched! Maybe she's not as terrible at this as I thought.

So she's invisible and intangible as long as she stays still?

[ looks at his fist ] ...that is kind of impressive.

Takes a lot of willpower, doesn't it?

[And Sigrun has plenty of that, so in her hands the power can be truly troublesome. In the clone's, not so much]

But I'm pretty sure she felt the punch anyway, so I can't really be all that upset about her, even though this is the least impressive copy of me there could have ever been.

[The clone didn't move after punched by Danny, so she gets begrudging approval from Sigrun]

[ ...Axel looks at here and then at the spot like ???

...

Right, clones. ]

...So, how long do you think we're going to be waiting for?

Around fifteen minutes more. She already lost and she knows it.

[Sigrun seems absolutely confident about her victory!]

You sure she's convinced of that?

[ Well, the other (?) clone is probably hanging on a little longer for power's activation sake, so maybe it's now pure desperation. ]

If she thought there was any chance of winning she'd have moved already! Standing still and staying silent when you're defenseless against a troll is the most basic thing ever.

[Therefore, she takes the clone's need to do that as a sign the clone already feels cornered]

[stunwhistle]

[looks at the spot.

looks at the spot again.]

What happens if I get close?

If she decides to move when you get close you probably will get stabbed.

[She has a dagger, after all! Everyone else has been mostly lucky I get bad rolls whenever they mess with the clone in any way, so they don't get attacked like that, hah]

[hmm.

he looks at the fountain, looks at the spot that sigrun is staring at, and then...




cups his hands in the fountain so that he can hurl water at it! even if the clone is invisible, dripping water everywhere would be a dead giveaway of her location. maybe. he doesn't know.]
